[Version 1.3]Issue when try to dock new DockableContent to bottom of the DockingManager

Jun 23, 2010 at 9:44 AM

If I create a new DockableContent and dock it to the left side or right side of the DockingManager, it's totally ok.
But if I try to dock it to the bottom of the DockingManager, the new content will be invisible, it's like this:

DockableContent newContent = new DockableContent();
newContent.Show(manager, AnchorStyle.Bottom);

I'll have to resize the bottom part manually or write code like this "ResizingPanel.SetResizeHeight(newContent.Parent, 100)" to make it visible.

This is just a minor issue, but still, hope it'll be fixed.

Thanks!

In DockingManager.cs , Line: 2275 & 2276

I changed the code there to be :

ResizingPanel.SetResizeHeight(dockParent, new GridLength(120));
ResizingPanel.SetEffectiveSize(dockParent, new Size(0, 120));

Then the problem is solved.

It's working for my scenario, but I don't know if it will cause any other issues or not.

Hope we can get an official solution for this.

Thanks!
