Our main project is Sofa. It is widely based on AvalonDock.

A couple of weeks ago we had a bug to solve. We were able to do this using AvalonDock change set 62949 in place of change set 62498. Looking in the source code tab we saw there is a lot of patches that are solving problems we do not have. Yet. And this made us realize we cannot rely on a library that does not have support.

AvalonDock (cont'd) is an attempt to create a support repository for AvalonDock: We uploaded the latest change set of AvalonDock as the initial one of this new project. Then we validated and merged some of the patches. We are currently working on others. You will find them and the updated code in the dedicated tabs.

You can ...

- If you are a user of AvalonDock: Post the issues you encounter: We will evaluate and prepare work. We will also try to make an inventory of issues posted after July 2010 and qualify them.

- If you want to participate in AvalonDock support: Have a look at the issue tracker and write a patch if you can solve some of them: We will test them and merge them with the source code.

All contributions are welcome.

We do not want and cannot take in charge the whole AvalonDock support but we can manage its process. Next steps depend on you !

EDIT: After posting this I saw Adospace is back. Not at the workbench but in this discussion. Next steps also depend on his decision ....
