Styling in general

Hi there,

What an amazion piece of work you have done here, it just works great!

I have the need to style this library so it fits to the applications design im working on.
1. Do you know any tutorial about how to style avalon dock.
2. I need to style the windows that are created when draging a pane out from the application. When i do this now it takes the look and feel of a standard window. Is this possible?

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks Niclas

1. Sorry no tutorial on styling AvalonDock, the only available tutorial comes from my blog (www.youdev.net). I hope to have time to write one soon.

2. I suggest you to start from the default FloatingWindow template that you can find into the sources under the Resources folder (look for FloatingWindow.xaml). FloatingWindow derives from Window and it is a base class for the DockableFloatingWindow (which hosts DockableContents) and DocumentFloatingWindow (which hosts DocumentContents).

So in other words you are confirming that it is possible, great!

I will try to do what you wrote me.
