How to open a DockableContent as a floating window

Jan 13, 2010 at 1:08 PM

Hi All,

very simple question, everything is in the title.

In a more global way : Is there somewhere a document explaining the Avalon specific objects, methods and properties, it is not that easy to learn about this very good component.

Edit : A response from adospace :

<input id="ctl00_ctl00_MasterContent_Content_PostRepeater_ctl04_PostId" name="ctl00$ctl00$MasterContent$Content$PostRepeater$ctl04$PostId" type="hidden" value="100995" />

Hi, when you create a DockableContent be sure to put it into a parent pane (DockablePane or DocumentPane), then call DockingManager.Show() to show the content into a FloatingWindow. In this way AvalonDock knows which pane previously contained the content.

Thanks for the tool and the information
