Commented Issue: [Version 2.0] Missing feature from 1.x, DocumentPane.ShowHeader [15626]

Hi,

In previous versions, there was a property on the DocumentPane class that allowed to collapse the Header: DocumentPane.ShowHeader.

Creating the same effect in 2.0 is not possible unless I override the entire DockingManager style.

Hiding the Header work's fine but not if you're saving and loading the layout - that the Header is back. How can I keep the header hidden after loading?

When having a floating document which is in focus and clicking on a menu item in the main window (or any other control not in a document or acnhorable) the focus is not set correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

- Run MVVMTestApp
- Open two documents
- Float one of them
- __Click on the "Tools" menu, and it opens correctly.__
- Now, click inside the _docked_ document (focusing its TextBox)
- Click on the floating document
- __Click on the "Tools" menu, and it does not open__ instead focus is set to the TextBox inside the docked document.

I see this problem too. It is especially important with the application main menu.

It seems to be triggered by: LayoutDocumentControl.OnPreviewGotKeyboardFocus:

I have a Project like Visual Studio, where I want to show different layoutanchorable in dependecy of the selcted layoutdocument (lik in VS where you have for Example the Outline View when you select a WPF document, but not if you're in a Sourcode file)
Whats the best way to do this??

I've just noticed that you've released a new version of AvalonDock and so I was wondering if you guys will also continue to support the nuget package and keep it up to date or if I should drop that from my current project.

Either way, I'm looking forward to using a properly supported version of AvalonDock.

P.S: I've also just noticed that the humongous download button on the homepage here still points to the previous version.

In MVVM sample if you save a layout that has one open document named a.txt and later on you load this layout, the document pane shows a.txt in it's header, but it doesn't show it's contents. It even shows this header if you deleted this file on disk.

Furthermore the workspace viewmodel doesn't know anything about this document, the _files collection is empty.

In my current project I modified AvalonDock in order to get rid of this problem. So far I have no side effects.

I would suggest that you put this modification into your source code as well:

In the function LayoutSerializer.FixupLayout I put the lines

I created my own theme for AvalonDock version 2.0.1771 and I used it with no problem.

If I used it on new AvalonDock 2.0.2000 a lot of resources are missing then I got a lot of unstyled and white components on UI, application is slower then before.

I hope Xceed fix this problem as soon as possible.

Edit: I did an other test and recognized, when I have more than two LayoutAnchorables grouped in a Tab the error raises only when I click on the last Tab.

- maximize that pane.
- save layout.
- load layout.
Pane is now correct on the second monitor, but it isn't maximized.

Not so small as you might think...

I get many of them and my application is really slowed down now since I upgraded from commit 96782 to 102188.

I'm using Aero.
