[Version 1.3] saving the layout after any layout change

Jun 14, 2010 at 5:36 PM

Traditionally, applications save layout on close. I think that's stupid. I want to save the layout every time the layout is changed. (Okay, I confess that my program just isn't that stable yet.) And I want this to happen in a low-priority background thread if possible. I attempted to use the LayoutUpdated event, but it triggers multiple times during drag. I'm wondering if we should have a "LayoutUpdating" event that triggers multiple times and then have the "LayoutUpdated" event just trigger once when the user lets go of the mouse button.

Maybe you can trigger the DockableContent.StateChanged event that is raised every time a content is moved/anchored or floated.
