How to Customize the header of a DocumentPane

Oct 27, 2008 at 8:07 AM
Hi fellows,

I'm a newbie to AvalonDock. I am using a DocumentPane but I will have only one document open which should remain open all the time (user cannot have the option to close). How can I customize/hide the header bar of a DocumentPane. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You can replace DocumentPane default style with a custom template which removes the header bar. Download the source code of AvalonDock and look for "aero.normalcolor.xaml" file. In there you can find a custom style for the DocumentPane. Start from there to build your custom style removing the first row of the internal grid.
I suppose this is also an answer to your first discussion entry, is it?
