Why are obj and bin folders stored in source control?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is any particular reason of storing in source control all files in obj and bin folders of projects (which are usually product of the build and not considered as a source code). If there is no reason not why not remove them?

I am asking because if I get AvalonDock from source control and once I build I get all project folders dirty because of object files being localy modified which is not very nice.

Best regards,

I'll second that,

In addition to setting the project dirty it also causes conflicts in binary files next time I update, I have to delete bin and obj folders each time before updating. Quite annoying.
